I love how she made the comment of "just waking up" after the first question when she noticed the interviewer a bit quiet and nervous to respond and moving to transition into the next question. Seamlessly breaking the ice with such gentleness. Understandably the interviewer must have been a bit struck by who she was interviewing. Patti answers with such authentic love and care. She is an incredibly wonderful and awe inspiring human.

Im reading the last chapter of So You've Been... and it ked me think about a recent shaming, that of James Somerton. I think he did wrong things, and one if them was sending fans to harass, bully and attack thise who were accusing Somerton. I haven't seen a single, NOT EVEN ONE, person writing, Ih, i shouldn't have done that. I believed James' lies and that's why i threatened so and so other writer. Nobody. Not a single one person has said, I'm sorry, i shouldn't have done that. And that has been troubling me since the whole debacle.

Did an involuntary yell of joy when I saw this video! Two of my ultimate favorites. I listened to the audiobook version of Maria Bamford's book a couple months ago and it was excellent, definitely recommend listening to it as you get to hear her wonderful narrations and voices and impressions. Can't wait to check out Aparna's book too! Just ordered it

Love this so much. As an HSP, I have an understanding of autistic people that is hard for me to convey but I think would be so helpful to autistic children and their parents. I can see the ways parents don't understand their children or the role they have as parents in their children's struggles. The lack of sensitivity compared to the high sensitivity of an autistic person, who are the most sensitive of all HSPs, is what distorts the child's experience, causing the distortion of autism instead of just high sensitivity. Parents are not to blame but they are the cause, and it's very hard to explain that without people getting defensive because they can only understand through a paradigm of blame and fault instead of awareness and responsibility. You can't be blamed for something you don't know, becoming aware is what will help everyone have more peace and happiness. I admire Temple for finding her way to learning to express helpful information to people. Every sensitive person offers a unique perspective and we should listen to all of them. Temple inspires me to find a way to share my own findings.

He wanted me to love the one who killed him . . . slowly in front of me. Our whole relationship of 35 years was a sham unbeknownst to me. I was left shattered while he "blossomed". The unforgivable part was that he let me think there was something wrong with me all those years. I wasn't pretty enough, I wasn't thin enough . . . I wasn't a ten. I was supposed to be his audience while he slathered on moisturizer and preened, instead I sipped whiskey on the back porch planning my liberation.

The woman has not to work. She is his husband or family if she is not married. She has to be given a place to live, clothes to wear, food, and protection. Any income or property is her own not required to spend it. However, the husband or the man is required to do all that even his wife rich he has to spend on her. Heir is just not equally.

Forget the political philosophy. Both were dictators who killed.their opposition a d both wanted world domination. Both stressed being a part of the country and puttimg it first whether you call it the motherland or fatherland. One ran all the commerece while one regulated all the commerce. Both claimed a love for commoners while livinv and flaunting a life of excess in all aspects.
